N73 Firmware Upgrade wallpaper probs

Hi

I upgraded my firmware, and its changed alot of the settings. It's on Orange.

The sidebar is now gone - this is a bit of a pain, and its moved to the top with different buttons as well I think...

The MAJOR pain is that I can no longer get fullscreen wallpapers. Theyre cut off and take up about half the screen. Does anyone know if this is usual for the new firmware?

How do i change it?

Cheers!

Sounds like you've lost (or it is off by default or you turned it off) the Orange Home Screen app. Turn it back on where ever the setting for it is (possibly in the Settings app).

What you see now is the default Nokia Active standby app. If you want a full-screen background without the Orange Home Screen app, then the wallpaper setting is not enough, but you need to use an S60 Theme.

To make your own themes, you can use http://www.ownskin.com or install Nokia's Carbide.ui S60 Theme Edition program from http://forum.nokia.com

I think the phone resets when you install the new firmware.

Im not sure how to turn on the Orange Home page app, as I think this is wiped when you install the new firmware. These are photos and wallpapers that worked fine full screen before the upgrade..

For example - if I take a photo, its not full size on the screen, with or without active standby being on....

Its always shrunk down with the colours behind it..
