My phone just does not want to connect to the PC Suite Software.
With datacable or bluetooth connection, no chance!
Windows XP (Pro SP2) gives a sound that a device has been connected.
The phone its self shows the usb connection (or bluetooth) logo as soon as I connect.
But the PC Suite just allways gives me "No Phone connected".
I've deleted the N80 out of the System device list (which had a yellow exclamation mark and has disappeared now). No change :-/
The same problem occures on my notebook.
Re-installing PC Suite doesn't help.
I've even replaced the calbe at my nokia-store!
Anybody any hints for me??
Pc suite is a joke, if u only wana transfer music/images/vids/apps etc then uninstal pc suite, goto data cable app in the connect folder in ur n80 and set it to DATA TRANSFER, now plug it into pc with data cable and ur pc will c it as a card reader and u just drag and drop! Simple
Thanks for that tip. Works great!
But a firmwareupdate is not going to be possible with this method :-/
Only as you said for data transfer.
