Nokia has now put up its official N95 product page on the Nseries site, with animations, spotlights and full technical specifications. And the good news is that it's still scheduled to arrive within the next 3 months.

I do not understand this message. That N95 product page is there already for many weeks. Do I miss something?

Ah. Well, the page was new to me - 8-) - and I wanted to counteract rumours on some other URLs that it had been delayed. Sorry if you've seen the page before!!

Steve

I notice they've already decided all the main features, including battery size (950mAH). Any chance AAS can do some independent benchmarking of this sort of thing, to get some idea of the battery life of these new devices?
I seem to recall the huge fanfare around the N80, only for peoples enthusiasm to run dry with the battery.

You really can't tell the battery usage until you have the final hardware and firmware. There's a lot of potential for power optimisation so even if two phones that do the same thing have the same battery one of them can last a lot longer if it's had its power usage tweaked properly.

The original N-Gage and the N-Gage QD were essentially the same phone and the QD battery was something like 20% bigger, but it lasted 100% longer while running games because it had been optimised properly.
