Getting rid of references to O2 from my phone

I've bought an N80 second hand from my mate. But the thing is I'm on Orange and he's on O2. The phone works fine with my Orange SIM but, when I switch on the phone I get an O2 logo falshing upon startup. Is there a way to get rid of this? I thought that a software upgrade would've sorted this but it hasn't. I upgraded to the latest version via Nokia Software Updater. Is a firmware upgrade exactly the same as a reflash, or is a reflash more thorough? Is there a way to remove all O2 references from my phone.

Also is there any way to remove the annoying Nokia "handshake" video that appears when I switch on my phone, or at least switch off the sound that it makes?

I have found a similar topic, where the author is suggested to use "NSS+gsm magic+NSU+FOTA", but as I am totally new to Symbian I have no idea what these mean.

Thanks

Have a look around the forum 4 my post about changing the n80s product code, its prety easy to change, once uv done that flash ur phone again using the nokia software update app, it will say u already have the latest version but u can stil continue and flash, as for the startup tone u cant do anything about it or the handshake image, but the o2 image will b gone! Also have a luk around for the corect n80 product code for the generic n80!
