Nokia LD-3W, because is a SirF Star III, 20 channels, and use the same battery from Nokia line and same chargers, car and house. I use LD-1W, inferior, without any problem. But that market have, maybe, thousands of choice devices...

Yes, at least one more, but I dont remenber the name... is more or less a no name brand.

I've been using a an iBlue GPS unit, it ships with mains and car chargers (USB type). There aren't any major problems with "no name" GPS units, as they all use one of two basic chipset types (ie. the SiRf and whatever mine uses).

Battery life is supposed to be quite good, up to 30 hours continuous.

I dont know any one free. Only pay ones. See on software section of this site.

GPS isn't software and you can't download it. If you want to use Satellite Navigation with your Nokia, you will need to buy a hardware device called a GPS receiver like this one....

This is the one I have and it has worked very well with my 6600, 6680 and N73. The battery life on this particular model is exceptional with the device lasting almost an entire weeks use before needing a charge.

Once you have this device and once you have bought suitable software like TomTom, Route 66 or Naviman, you're good to go 😊
