There's a new version of Tipic available for download. It's a great IM solution, and is free! Just register at http://www.tipic.com and download for your Nokia 7650 or SonyEricsson P800
It has lots of features, some of which were mentioned here by AAS's demanding users!

Looks really great, but after creating an account cant login 😞
Could that be the same problem than before with too short names?
Strange if it is, and they have not made any corrections to their page 😃
Tried to have JyriK, but cant login. Dont want to change that.
Damn tipic 😃
Sent some email to them asking about that.
UPDATE:
got mail back 15min after sending, quite fast 😃
Yes, there is still that problem with registration. used 7 letters, now works.
It realy look nice.
can someone say if its better the IM+?
what IM programs does is support?
the bigg diferent betwee tipic and IM+ is that IM+ connects directrly to the server and tipic connect to the tipic server and the tipic server connects for you on the messaging server.
tipic is free
IM+ not
i have both 😊 because i use tipic for msn and im+ for icq
in TIPIC you can't manage your MSN or ICQ/AOL contact-list.
Do I have to have GPRS to use it ? Or can it work on WAP ? Also same question for IM+ .. anyone ?
hi
it behaves much better now, they mention on the site that you can make the message alert sound like a SMS, has anyone figured how to do that yet? i thought id ask here before i wrote to them ..

I would also like to have the alerts more audiable.
Maybe we could all leave our TicipMe JID here so we can talk to each other. Mine is:
JID: secret_squirrel

go to the main tipi page, then go to more info about tipicme, and then on the left hand side towards the bottom, there's a little headline saying alerts on your client, select that, then on the next page, choose confirm, it will take you to a page of loads of options, select your alerting preferences fron the top toolbar and then choose to authorize via sms. i'm sure you can work out the rest.
