I've flashed 2 phones with the latest EMEA firmware and both are having the same problem. After some time of using the phone (I'm not sure of the cause just yet), the red and green call buttons stop working. The red doesn't return to the home screen and the green doesn't bring up the log when on the home screen.
I've also noticed this morning that after this happening, i'm unable to press the number keys to dial a number, unless i tap the red key, which then causes the active standby and operator name to disappear.
Mine isn't the only phone doing this as my mate's is doing the same. I flashed to EURO 1 Black firmware.
Anyone else had this?

I have had similar problems...its not a great issue because the ability to make free calls outweighs the problem, but I do have to reset the phone a couple times a day
hmm doesn't sound good, I used Euro 1 (can't remember what colour!) and haven't had this problem yet. I flashed about 3 days ago and all is well.
How long did it take for this problem to appear with you guys after flashing?
I wonder if there is some software that you are both using that is causing trouble, as opposed to it being solely a firmware only issue maybe there is a conflict or something?
No probs with mine guys, i flashed mine with EURO 1 PATINA BRONZE and mine is working great, maybe its the EURO 1 BLACK that has the prob?
I'm sure I only had one Euro 1 option, how come everyone else has so many differeny colours!?

I think it could be software related, it happens most of the time when I am messing about with the sip and voip functions..

I agree, my phone becomes very slow and sometimes reboots when I am editing VOIP and SIP connection settings.
At other times, my N80IE is 100% stable - I flashed using the UK CV IE PB code, 0543922

You will find this happens one you have gone into the Settings->Connections->Internet Te. settings. Once this has been setup, i try and avoid it. There should be no real reason to go into this once you have setup the profiles.
Mine has been rock solid since I flashed in with Euro1 PB and I have been playing with the VOIP and its settings loads.
I did a clean install of all my apps afterwards though, I didn't restore a back up because i have learnt from experience that it can overright some of the new files and cause problems.
So if you restored a backup it might be worth formating your phone and reinstalling apps from scratch.
First started happening after a couple of hours. I did restore from a backup but I have since wiped it, only thing is, that it re-installs apps from the memory card on the first boot... It does tend to happen after using VOIP.
No problems here, I used Euro1 PB, installed all the apps again, wiped formated memory card also, fresh installed everything, no problems whatsoever, have installed lots of apps, all on memory card. Great phone, only let down by the battery, but I have since bought a desktop charger and second battery which i carry with me, just in case i run out of juice. Second battery seems to last about 60% the original battery lasts. Original made in China, second battery made in Hungary, both look exactly the same, second battery doesn't have the hologram though.
