Yes,but the gif animation will only loop once.You'll need an app to loop the animation infinitely.

you can use e-profiles pro from psiloc :P

If you mean wallpaper or screensaver then answer is: no, you cannot use animated gifs there.

Yes you can. with extended profiles pro you can have animated wallpapers
and with PsiLoc's screensaver you can have animated screensavers.

In English: You can use gifs in Screen saver (they loop forever)
edit: you can have them loop by using as wallpaper (using e profiles pro) (being away from this forum for 3 days results in alot of catching up to do!)
And you can view gifs (looping forever) by using animviewer, and seleq (the latest version) 😃

about eProfiles, i know that they have an option to animate background, but i've tried it several times with different gifs but havent gotten any to work. 8)
