Geniune Uncle Fester, isn't he? 😊 As to his words, well, the guy is telling what he is supposed to tell, given his employer. There is no reason to search for meaning in a PR opportunity.

Thank goodness Ballmer's in charge of Microsoft and doesn't look like leaving anytime soon.

It means Microsoft will die all the quicker, and take their crap software with them.
