My Infrared Port Is Used By Another Application..help Please!!

I M TRYING TO CONNECT MY NOKIA 6600 TO MY WINXP SP2 VIA INFRARED CONNECTION..WHENEVER IM TRYING TO CHECK THE INFRARED CHECK BOX I GET THIS ERROR MSG..

"IT S NOT POSSIBBLE TO USE THIS PORT AS ITS USED BY ANOTHER APPLICATION"

HOW TO REACH THE PORTS SETTING IN MY MACHINE SO TO SET A DIFFERENT PORT FOR IR CONNECTIONS TO STOP THIS CONFLICT??!!!!!!!

PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAASE...HELP...

I TRIED INSTALLING AND UNISTALLING MY PC SUITE SEVERAL TIMES ....DIDN'T WORK...
ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A TORTURED MOM??!!!!😡 😡 😡😡 😡

Hey man calm down...
maybe u need 2 format the phone (without the memory card)
but anyway don't use the IR port it's too slow if ur using it to recieve files or send them I suggest that u use the bluetooth it's faster & by using the pc sute to transfer files u'll get better & ur phone...
