I downloaded and installed NSU or nOkia software Updater .. I immediately connect my phone to my pc and then started the process without back uping the files in my computer.. but its ok because it was just brand new and furthermore.. few files are installed there. .. as my Phone Rebooted .. TUTORIAL had appeared again.. just like the first time i touched and bought my phone.. the contacts were vanished.. but the songs were still there. the Problem is:

How am i going to Change its product code?
Do i need to change my product code ?

And another is : the BATTERY BAR and the SIGNAL BAR wasn't appearing on my screen, can't message , can't TURN OFF my cp ... ETC .. please help me..

i dont know what to do and besides it is brand new... =(

Ok, I'm not quite sure what you're saying here. Did you buy an N73 Music Edition or did you buy a standard N73 and then try to update it to ME ?

If you tried the update, did you change the product code first and if so, how ?

More accurate information please 😊

Sounds like you've maybe tried a firmware update?

Anyway, the issue with the contacts is purely down to your not backing it up. If I remember right, the update does remind you to do a backup, its a quick and easy option, either with the PC Suite, or the memory card option.

Music won't have been wiped, as that is stored on the memory card, which isn't touched by the firmware update.

The other problems with the lack of signal, messaging, etc. Check your SIM - take it out, blow on the SIM/contacts in the phone, then carefully/firmly put it back in the phone, try again.

failing that, somehow your phone has lost all of its operator settings, its connection to the network .... which could just as likely be a problem with your account with your operator.

1st you could save your contacts to your memory card then you recopy them to your contacts again because when you either hard reset or upgrade your phone software you lose all your data saved on phone memory or SIM card

2nd if you bought a standard N73 and you wanna upgarde it to ME you've got to download Nokia Software Upgrader and NSS (Nemesis Service Suite) this program (NSS) you need it to change your product code ,you can find it by searchin' on the net
