Vodafone Branding

Hi,

I have just got my M600i from vodafone and come up against its terrible branding of the phone, with particular offence being taken over the homescreen. I can cope with it but was wondering if there had been a solution found yet?

I have searched the internet but any posts I have found have been fairly old ones. Though I did manage to sort the task manager problem by downloading Swiss Manager.

Would doing a master reset help any?

or SE latest software download?

basically I would just like to get rid of the vodafone branded homescreen and have my m600i the way it is supposed to be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

solution found:

called vodafone and they have extended my cooling off period until January which is when they are getting 'vanilla' m600i's in at which point they will swap it for me.

the voda stores apparently offer a software update to remove the branding but even though it is them that update it for you they say that it gets rid of your warranty. rubbish really.

anyway, hope this helps people.
