Good morning,
I tried to find answers to my questions by myself before posting but had no luck. I've been bit puzzled by this N80i phone. The N80 Interent Edition.
I read about it some time ago already, Nokia published an article telling it was going to appear and even now publish some support pages.
On the other hand, no N80i on the model page. Not in the "Current models", neither in the upcoming models. The N95, although seen no official date yet, is already there in the "upcoming phones" but the N80i which is normally being shipped, isn't.
Anybody got a clue on what is actually happening with this N80i? As far as I understood it's the same hardware as the N80 but with some software more. The VOIP client I was waiting (which made me not to be buy the N80 as not present) and some other stuff like Flickr (if I remember well).
So, basically, I know the N80 can be brought to N80i easily thanks to an upgrade, but as I don't have yet a N80 I might consider buying a N80i straight away not to void my warranty with "home flashing" and be "legal". Any idea what is happening or if Nokia will provide N80 users the same software to be installed?
Thanks a lot.
Ka.
