Nokia have publicly said that Nokia Software Updates to the N93, down since November 3rd, will remain suspended until 'early 2007'. This is due to technical issues with using NSU with the next-gen N93 processor, apparently. The new v20.0.058 firmware is now well established at all main Nokia service centres though*.

Hi all,
Having read this piece of news yesterday i phoned my local Nokia Service Centre who last time i checked didn't have it yet and to my surprise they said they have it. So first thing this morning off i went and dropped it in, four hours later and i collected it all i can say is WOW! the speed has jumped up more than a little, start up is noticeably quicker as is opening any app which is now virtually instantaneous as is the changing from flip to Landscape mode screen no more lag or delay. It is to early to report anything else but this is the second update and the improvements have so far been excellent. I have only being using Nokia's since June this Year and all i can say is i don't miss a touchscreen at all any more and am glad I changed from SE. I suppose i am lucky the Service Centre is only 10 minutes away from me but would say this update is well worth the travel and time it takes IMO.
