N73 2GB PQI MiniSD Problem HELP PLS!!

Hi mates,
Today i bought 2GB MSD for my N73. Now when i try to install anything on it, it gaves me errors like unable to install, or file corrupted. N73 supports 2 GB doesn't it? How can i solve the problem?? I'm veery worried...What should i do??

I had the same problem with a 2Gb miniSD card (no brand one). Now, I have a 2gb miniSD Sandisk Ultra II and works with any problem at all. So, do all that: FW upgrade, format the card inside the phone, but if the problem still, is the card... Put one like the one I put, and see all work well.

Yes tomorrow i'll return the card, and i'll take new one. Are there any particular specifications i should know before i buy it? (like Ultr II) ???

As nj7 says, it's most likely a dodgy card, although mine is a "no-brand" card, but I purchased it from a reputable dealer who only sells cards that are tried and tested.

Like said "lovesign" should not be necessary any special card to do well the job... But I have try, maybe the best card of the bigger brand on market... only to know if is the card or the phone the problem.

I have a genuine card (i think), its shows there is 960mb left and stuff. But it will not let me copy any files over onto it from my computer. It always stops half way through and when I check status of minisd it say memory card currupted!! Is any1 else having this problem?
All I want to do is copy a few files, why can it not just run smoothly!?!

Try that card on another device to see if it works!

Also, what method are you using to transfer data ? Are you using the USB cable or Bluetooth, or are you using the card in a card reader attached to your computer ?
