Hi there Until I updated my firmware on my N80. I was able to access the internet. Now I get an error message, No Gateway Reply

Reasons for updating my firmware was because my phone kept rebooting and freezing. Updating as sorted that out. But after fixing one problem it has caused another, can U help

Which browser are you using ("Web" or "Services"😉?

What access point (WLAN/Wi-Fi, WAP or GPRS)?

Which network operator and in what country?

Which web sites (URLs) are you trying to access?

Myself and many others don't have your problem after FW upgrades so whatever the cause it must be possible to resolve for you. Here's what I would try.

1. Format the phone with *#7370# then setup the WiFi access point again
2. Do NOT restore a Nokia Backup from a previous FW version, this can cause problems.
3. If your Router is encrypted with WEP or WPA/PSK, try setting it temporarily to free access. Also, if the router SSID is hidden, try making it visible. If the N80 then connects OK, try putting the security back on one step at a time to locate the point of failure. Different routers appear to work in different ways with the N80 - e.g. with my router (NetGear) I cannot get my N80 to connect using WEP encryption, it only works with WPA/PSK.
4. If all else failse, re-flash the firmware, perhaps it was not 100% successful, despite finishing OK the first time.
