Hi, forgive me for being a noob... how do you guys obtain the product code for the latest version software? For example I am in singapore, how do I know which code suit me.. and what software do I use to get it? I have the Nss but it just showing my own product code. Thanks :icon14:

I'm assuming you wish to change your product code to benefit from a better firmware ? If you just wish to update, use Nokia Software Updater, available for free from Nokia's website.
If you wish to change your phone's product code to enable you to benefit from a better upgrade of firmware, then you will first need to identify your phone's current product code. You can do this by looking at the label underneath the battery. It's the 7 digit code beginning with 05.
Then you need to locate the product code for your locality for the new version of firmware you want to update to.
Once you have this, you can use a piece of software like Nemesis Service Suite to change your phone's product code to the new code and then use NSU to update the firmware.
Search the N73 board for loads more info.
And any changes you carry out like this are done so entirely at your own risk and they will most likely affect your warranty.

I am using the NSS now and manage to up grage the soft ware to V3. It just that I want to know how to get the code. Thanks. I have tried the update from the NSU without using the NSS to change the product code. It just said that I have the latest software.
Boy am I glade that i upgrade, no more having to wait 20sec for sending a SMS

What is the exact version of the firmware that you now have on your phone ?
Once you have NSS running, click on the phone icon at the top and then the Read button. On the right hand side of that window it should display the current product code.
