According to the manual, you should be able to reassign the functions of the hardware keys by going to control panel/device/hardware keys...
... that option isn't on my menu!!!!
Has anyone got it or know what the problem is?

Missing Hardware Keys option
Can't help much but to say that it appears on my phone (latest Vodafone firmware).

Check your menu path. On my P990i this option is under
Control Panel => Device => Hardware Buttons
I have just reassigned the "Internet" button to open the task manager and that worked fine ... until I changed it again and now nothing seems to happen when I touch the button! Very Intermittant.
Another case of the half-finished firmware? Wouldn't be nice to get a Christmas pressie from S-E of the new version!!
