N80 Browser Just Stopped Working...

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I'd love some advice, please.

I have been a happy and content user of my N80 since I bought it in August. No problems. None. Ever.

Until now... Suddenly the main browser has stopped working. I first noticed it a week ago but put it down to there being very little credit left on my 'phone. Since re-charging the credit, however, the problem has failed to go away.

I haven't changed any settings on my 'phone recently. In fact, except for Pep Talk (which I installed in September and have been using successfully ever since) there is not a single piece of third-party software on the 'phone. So I assumed it must be a Network problem and I tried connecting to my WLAN at home to test this theory. To my dismay the problem persisted. I have connected to my WLAN many times before without any problems, so now I started to suspect some more worrying problem with the 'phone or the software.

My Pep Talk still works, so I can use MSN on the move. Also, I can connect to the web using the WAP browser without any problems. I have ensured there are no other apps open so I know that memory isn't a problem. I even tried restoring the handset to its original factory settings, but that didn't help.

The problem is evident in this way: I open the Web thing and it prompts me to choose a connection. Fine. I usually choose WAP over GPRS or WLAN. Irrespective of which I choose the browser opens and the progress bar at the top starts to edge forward. Then I get a variety of error messages:

'Web reply unknown'
'Operation timed out'
'Unable to connect to secure server' (when trying to connect to a bank)
and, most recently,
'No gateway reply'

That, in a nutshell, is it. I am at a loss. Any ideas?

Thanks.
