I am hoping someone can give me some help.
I just bought the Nokia 9300. My pc has the XP operating system. I loaded the PC Suite that came on the disk with my phone. I was able to then sync my phone and pc with a DKU-2 cable.
After I did this, there was a link at the bottom of the PC Suite software that said "Update Software". I clicked the link. Once this was installed, I received error messages that the connectivity device driver was missing. When the phone is connected by the cable, the display on the phone says connected but the PC does not recognize it is there.
I have tried removing and re-installing both the PC Suite version from the original disk and the upgrade from the website multiple times. Nothing seems to be working.
Anyone have any ideas?
The first step would be to uninstall PC suite and re-install the newest version from Nokia:

... since the version on the enclosed CD is likely not the most current.
It would seem that you have tried this already... hmmm....
You could try Nokias PC-suite Cleaner:

I havent actually tried the program myself, but according to Nokia it is supposed to be able to search for problems related to PC-suite and remove every trace of the program, if you so desire. After that you can try a completely fresh installation from the web site...

At the risk of stating the obvious, you do know that the NSU won't work with the Series 80 devices, don't you? You need to send it to a NSC. I just had mine upgraded to 6.27.
Not sure about the rest of the problem I'm afraid, except what has already been suggested. At the end of the day, you can uninstall everything, format the 9300, make sure there's no traces left on the PC of anything Nokia, switch off the PC, restart and try the whole thing again.
I often find that the sledgehammer approach works, though not very satisfactory, psychologically. Also beware about restoring the 9300 too early after a format - one step at a time, then you might isolate the problem.
