I can't update my phone - I run Software Updater, connect the USB cable, select PC-Suite on the N73, click Next on Software Updater to detect phone. The NSU just sits there "Searching For Connected Phone".
PC Suite detects the phone straight away. I can open PC-Suite and close it while NSU is still searching, PC-Suite detects the phone straight away.
I've restarted the PC and the phone.
What else am I missing? Do I need some newer Drivers for the N73? I thought they installed with NFU...
Interesting note too - Nemisis also doesn't detect the phone. Sound like a driver issue??

Is your USB cable plugged in to your PC via a hub ? If so, try it in a slot that's connected directly to the mobo.
Failing that, try getting the latest version of NSU. It recently got updated to 1.2.0en. I have had no problems with NSU seeing my N73.
I only just downloaded NSU from Nokia, so i assume it's the latest. Also it's a direct USB connection to the motherboard - not a hub.
I'm going to uninstall and reinstall drivers for N73, and the NSU software (one at a time) and see what happens.
OK, I managed to get it to detect by waiting to connect the phone until the NSU was trying to detect - though i think I did that before, it worked now.
I can't get NSS to detect it though - should it detect the phone just over the USB by selecting PC Suite on the phone?
