The addition of auto-focus to an Nseries smartphone sounds like a good thing - but used wrongly it can be a hindrance and produce worse photos. Here I present four big tips that will hopefully improve the quality of the still photos on your Nokia N90, N73, N80 or N93.

It is quite startling to see the contrast between photos in different reviews of the same phone, some reviewers take awful quality pictures and blame the hardware while others take wonderful quality pictures and praise the hardware. Clearly there's some level of talent needed to use a high quality camera properly, but not everyone's aware of this (perhaps because it would spoil the easy-to-use marketing if the manufacturers said anything on the topic).
Indeed. And the same applies to any standalone camera. Give a top notch camera to my mum, for example, and she'll make a huge mess of using it, whereas give her a 40 quality point and shoot and she'll do as well as the rest of us. 8-)

Interesting tips, however, I think N80 users will find it difficult to use the autofocus since that's a feature the N80 doesn't have.
Ouch. I should have checked that. It's been ages since I saw an N80....
I'll amend the article!!! Thanks.
