Can some one tell me what the search app is for? I always though it was for internet search but im not sure now, every time i do a search i get network access error, im using my home wifi, why can you choose different languages in it, also in app manager there are lots of entries for "Search-localplugins" with different extensions I presume for different languages, is it ok to remove all of these and just keep the uk ones?

It is for searching Internet services, local directory services, etc.
It is OK to delete local plugins for countries you're not going to visit or even if you are, if you're not going to search local directories in those countries.

Thanks for the help, dont know what was up with mine but uninstalling it then reinstalling it got it to work,,,not a bad app really
