Mini SD corrupted in n73 Help

Today I just deleted the access points in connection after this i just power off and on the N73 my 1gb mini sd corrupted. the mobile is just showing the used and free space in memory option but not showing any file using "file manager". I have very important data. Need urgent help.

Read the card on a card reader, and copy the important files. After that do a phone format of the card and copy the files again. But, could be the card not ideal for n73... because I had the same experience.
