'Crash' course in programming a 9500

A friend is lending me a 9500 for a week or so. Should be arriving tomorrow.

Would someone point me in the right direction, please? That way I can start learning ASAP 😊

I know all sorts of languages including various assemblers, a bit of C and various 3GLs including Pascal, VB etc. But I haven't touched a communicator since the ancient Nokia 9000/HP200 series.

I'm interested in what the 9500 can do. Can we program IP sockets using OPL, or is that asking too much?

Thanks for any help or pointers to help me get started quickly😊

I dont know so much about OPL, but as far as C++ and JAVA goes the ultimate ressource is Forum Nokia where you can get everything you need, including a complete set of free IDE dev. tools for Symbian.

There is a lot of info there as well...
