I'm trying to decide whether to buy a Nokia Ngage QD or A Motorola A1000. Does any know if the A1000 is capable of playing ngage games? They are both symbian S60 so I am curious. If anyone can help please let me know.

Ngage games on A1000
The Motorola isn't S60, it's UIQ.
UIQ and S60 are both based on the Symbian operating system, but they're not compatible with each other's software as they're two completely different user interfaces.
If you want gaming on smartphones, I wouldn't get a QD because the N-gage and N-gage QD have been discontinued as they've been around for 3 years now and are very out of date. They're being replaced with Nokia's Next Gen games platform which will run on a range of different S60 3rd Edition smartphones, you can find out more details by going to the link below:
They haven't announced which models will be compatible yet, but the vast majority of them (perhaps all of them) will be ordinary-looking S60 3rd Edition smartphones rather than console-style models.
