will sat nav then work etc and where will i find icon etc

just need a little direction

cheers wayne

I don't think tomtom for N70 will work on the N80. To put the files in the root of the memory card means you copy them straight into the card (do not create a folder and put them into the folder, but copy them in E:/, as i suppose that will be the letter of the card). For N80 you will need tomtom for symbian v60 3rd edition, N70 has Symbian 2nd edition if i'm right.

Hi ALL,

Dunarea is correct, TomTom5 (N70) will never work on the N80, which requires TomTom Navigator 6... but even if it was possible, TomTom will detect it has been copied to another phone and request a new activation code.

Hi, yes your correct, you need tomtom navigator 6, i have it on my nokia n80 and works a treat, but you will need the latest software, ie firmware v4, so the bluetooth will then be stable with the gps reciever...

Also especially if you have an orange branded n80, the bluetooth will lose connection after 4-5 minutes, so you will have to have firmware changed to nokia generic v4.

Hope thats helped you
