hi every body, i really need help. i just bought my n73 last weeks. n i hav bought a new pc too. that day i try to connect my n73 to my new pc after i install all the software including the pc suite, cable driver. when i plug the phone to the front usb panel of my pc using cable (ca53), the phone hang n going turn off, after that i try to on it again, it bcome nothing wrong. but when i try to connect it again to the pc, that no respone with my hp or pc. ( like normal if phone connect to pc, that is a small usb logo appear on the phone screen) i hav try to restart my computer n my phone, n i hav format my phone too using *#7370#. but its no respone too. i hav connect this phone in my old computer last time, its connected. every thing is ok....
AT LAST i found that, the wire of front usb panel is plug wrong way into the socket of the motherboard.....after that i try to correct it, but my phone cant connect to my pc anymore..... is that some ic in my phone is "burn"???? that make the phone is no respone when plug to usb??? do anybody know which ic is burn? i scared i send the phone to repair, its bcome more problems.... what can i do?????????????
Could be different things... Update your Firmware with latest one. Either take it to Nokia Service or do it from the website of Nokia but do take back up of all your data first:icon4: Chech also if is not the USB port of new PC!
i hav try many pc too.....but still no respone. i cant connect to pc, how to update the phone firmware? i not worry about the firmware, i scared the phone circuit board hav a ic is burn.... is it posible?
Install Noia Software Updater tool from nokia.co.uk, support pages of N73 and do the firmware upgrade at your home.

driver every thing is ok. i hav try connect to my nokia 3230. it is ok. but the n73 is cant connect to my pc. (i hav try my fre pc too, cant also) i think last time the usb in my computer i hav plug wrong socket with motherboard, when i plug a usb cable to my n73, maybe the volt or something wrong n make some ic of the n73 is burn.....n cant connect to pc........... is it possible?
hi Anettejt, my n73 not hang when connect to usb cable, is no respone when i connect it to usb cable.( nothing happen when i plug it) but i use the same pc n same cable to connect to my 3230, it is work fine, that means, the driver n cable is nothing wrong...is my phone got something wrong.
1 question i want to ask, can i use bluetooh to update my firmware?
i think if want to use nsu, it is only can use usb cable right?????
other than use usb cable, can use other hardware to update the firmware?
For NSU, only cable. Remove PCSuite and NSU. Clean registry with all entries related with both programs. Reboot PC. Install both again. Another way to do the upgrade, is to go a Nokia Service.
I had a similar problem with my 6680. It turned out to be a corrupt PC Suite driver on the phone. I cleaned up the drivers on the phone using FExplorer and then connected it back up again. PC Suite then reinstalled the drivers and everything was fine. I also noticed that PC Suite doesn't like communicating with phones if the USB cable is connected to the PC via a hub. It only seems to work when connected direct to the motherboard.
