Not able to connect to PC — Nokia N70, N72 and N90

Hi All,

I have recently bought a Nokia N70. But I am not able to connect the phone to PC. I have installed the PC suite which was provided in the CD with the phone. When I connect the data cable to the PC, it says a new hardware detected. But nothing appears on the phone screen. When I try to transfer any data, it says no Phone connected.

I am using windows XP. I have verifed that the data cable is fine, as i am able to connect other phone using the same data cable. Can any one please help me to figure out and resovle the problem.

Remove and reinstall your PC suite while on the installation process follow strictly on-screen directions until you end up having your phone recognized. No guarantee that this will work 100%. Repeat the process if necessary.

Which version of PC suite are you using?
The latest is v6.82.

I had problems with the provided version but have had no trouble since upgrading.
