Ive orderd a bluetooth thing for my laptop - It uses WinXP - Ive used it with win2k... But is there anything I shud know about using Bluetooth with winXP?
XP and Bluetooth
Bluetooth has no problem with WinXP as far as i know.
The problem is that Nokia's PC suite is not supported under XP.

Did i hear they are bringing out an XP compatable PC suite? I currently use the one o got with the 7650 via an ir link and theres no problems

Will it be availble for download? also i seen my friend use some Nokia software that allows him to send SMSs ... check SMS inbox etc... From his PC, [using an 8310 and win2k] Does anybody know what this is and if its availble for 7650/XP/bluetooth [or iR]

Yes it will be available for download,like all prior PC suite versions.
And no,i dont know what software is that.

Zippy, i'm surprised "again" Yes. we have two applications with which to view sms on pc. for more info....

Well I did mean sending yes - Would be nice if you cud send an SMS via PC>Bluetooth>phone, So you cud leave it in your holster or pocket! If the viewing thing works Via bluetooth then its nearlly there - Technically get it out half as often 😊 Im lazy 😃
