Unable to Update M600i Firmware

I have an M600i with version numbers:

Phone: CXC 162037 R4A002
Bluetooth: CXC 162058 R3A01
Organizer: CXC 162071 R3B01
CDA: CDA162016/3 R3A01

This website http://www.se-uiq.com/help-m600-eng.htm
tells me that the latest version for my phone is R9A002, however when I use the update service I'm told I have the latest version.

I suppose I'm asking for clarification on the latest version and how to update it.

this normally happens, when your phone is branded.

often it takes some (more) time, until the new firmware version can be provided as a branded version ...

yes, that's true.....for every branded phone, unless your service prvoider PAYS Sony to make the NEW updated BRANDED firmware for them, OTHERWISE u won't have more updated firmware...

and that explains why it's alway the generic phone got the latest firmware, but branded one is always having some older..

(btw, if u are interested to remove the branding and put the phone with generic firmware)...u can see my web for more info about the advantages of doing that 😎

To activate the hidden menu close the flip or use the virtual keypad and enter the following combination:

I have two phones. One has the R4A002 but when I use the update program, it says I have the latest rev. I thought that the lates rev was R9a002. True or not?

My m600i software is
PDA: CXC 162071 R1A52
Phone: CXC 162037 R1A93
BLuetooth: CXC 162058 R3A01
CDA: CDA 162011/2R1A36

when i try to update online with Update_Service_Setup-2.6.11.7.exe which is downloaded from SE site, application error messege showed up.
"Failed checking apliacation version, please resintall the application and make sure that you have the latest version."

Please give me how to update step by step. Flash Player already installed properly.

new update works fine, loud tone, fast navigation/scroll, no hung ups..

just updated my firmware today

Does anyone know what the latest firmware for the m600i is now? I've just updated mine. I'm with 3 so the phone is branded.

You can update ur firmware from sony Ericcson website i did and then plug the data cable and run the install application.. :icon14:

Thank you, I think this kind of SONY Ericsson mobile phone shell is good, very smooth and give the first eye is very high, the way to ensure that feel comfortable, not changeful form, to avoid the loss of characteristics to let everyone like
