Just got a hold of this software

and it seems awesome, leaving the nokia "music player" for dead.

Searching the forum, I couldn't find anything but a muted reference to it in the Nokia 80 section, so I wanted to make sure this info was up for E series users.

This sounds like a big rant, so I will just say now I have no affiliation with those that produce this software!

For me, still on the latter version of E61 V1 firmware (and frightened to move for fear of bugs!), this proggy solves all of the probs that the decrepit nokia music software had.

* You have heaps of equaliser variability, and can individually tweak the large array of pre-eq settings with a 10 stage equaliser.

* You can now select parts of the track, going fast forward or rewind with a push of the joystick. (I listen to audio books where tracks can be 40 min +. It is infuriating with the nokia software if I miss a bit and want to go back a few seconds to catch what I missed!)

* You also have great file browsing capability to get to the track (or "play folder" function) that you want. It auto makes a playlist when you select a folder, then you can edit the playlist.

* It has great track information on the screen.
Tho I think unecessary, it even has an equaliser display.
You can get very detailed info of the mp3 tag info with the
"track> details" function.
The program will link to the web live for album cover art and
lyrics.

* Now I can get a large range of volume control, particularly where the gap between 10% and muted volume with the original nokia software was just way too big.

* Not that I have gotten to it yet since I have only had it in the phone for an hour (!) but there's also an internet radio streaming feature.

Wicked. Whoohooo!

nice find, will give it a go, though i cant find what the limitations are without installing it and dont want to pay for something that is fixed in v3 firmware.
