I've got TomTom on the card that it came on in my phone. Consequently I am having memory issues and cant save anything else to the card.
If I back up to my PC and put a bigger SD card in the phone and restore to the new card will this solve my memory problems?

The easiest way is to get a card reader for your PC, then just copy the contents off of the TomTom card on to your PC then back from the PC onto the new larger mini SD card.

yeah, I moved it with a card reader on to a 2gb card. its all gravy, but the tomtom images show in my 'gallery' now... which is a bit annoying.
There is a fix, but its a hassle so I haven't done it -I think you use file manager to make them hidden or something ... might get around to doing that sometime - probably before the missus deletes them...

just tried making it hidden with ybrowser but they still show... and yeah, it would be a real ball ache to go thru all the items on the phone... maybe it can be done on that card reader instead?
might start a new thread for this after a search
