i am using Nokia N70 Music Edition and theres no option for for closing the camera shutter tone so is there any software i can use to do this, cuz i have a software that closes the beep when recoding calls so maybe there is a software that closes the shutter tone - thnx

In the profile,

Turn off the warning tones,

This is how I've turned off the camera shutter sound,

But...

You don't get things like Low battery warning anymore, :frown:

Carl,

Yes it depends on the country....I was not able to remove the shutter sound of my N70 too....but when I did a firmware update....i was able to do that..... :P

Im not sure if it was the firmware update itself or the fone format (*#7780# if im not mistaken) because when i restored several time, and after the phone restarts, it asks for the city you are in....i put 'cance' (left blank)...so it may be that too....
hope that helps!

quick question nytrydr; what program are you using to turn of the beep in call recordings?im using one but the fact that you cant configure it to start up automatically is annoying!!i have to manualy start it each time i start the phone...

thanx...

Thanks...its the same program i am using.....but i dont like the fact that you cant set it to automatically launch when you turn on your mobile!

I am trying to edit the startup of the phone....i was told to go to newlc.com and search for "ezboot"...I read a little about it....it doesnt sound that hard but it needs time since i am new to these stuff (and im very busy at the moment...)

i still dont know how to edit the pkg file...i read something about "makesis"....i downloaded a copy but couldnt make it to open....

nways...i dont have time for it right now....if, however, you have the time and intersted in making it automatically launch....search for ezboot at newlc.com....try snooping around abit...im sure ul make it work:P

(if i make it work later on, il send you the configured .sis file to use...)

Regards
