Iv been using Divx player on my E50 for some 20 days now and suddenly i got this error while starting it: Application expired. Please download latest version.
I already tried few reinstalls but nothing.
Need help.

i have this as well. Might be anew version online. Will get back to you. I use N80 for the record.
Smartmovie player works much better nowadays. 352x416 high quality @30fps smooth and picture perfect.
I tested the PPC version on my IPAQ and the same 'testing version expired...' message appeared. I then back-dated the IPAQ to December 31st, 2006 (pre-2007), and volia - it worked. Doing this date change also worked on my Nokia N73.
Not the best solution, but I guess until DivX comes out with a patch, this will be my workaround.

It seems that the developers have not released the new version of DivX. The solution is either change the date back to 2006 or use other players (such as SmartMovie or RealPlayer).
yup no update yet.
I'm not exactly sure what's happened because I haven't made any changes, but my existing version is working properly again. I really don't have much of an explanation other than it must have been that dreaded Y2K0101 problem. :laugh:
