I am having a big issue with the cable connection between N73 and the PC. It is extremely flakey. Even, when I do not touch the cable, it frequently drops the connection.
Remarkably the headset connection seems to work very well. Is it my cable or is the pop port the cause of this unstable connection?
Could be the cable... The pop-port connection is not a great thing indeed, but is not also so unstable... So may be your cable or your phone.

Mine's exactly the same too. I have two headsets that work perfectly (no noise or bad connections) but the data cable is so flakey. I think it has to be the cable...
