Hi, does anybody no if you can remove the icons on the home screen of the N80? as they get in the way of the photo/ ie if you use your own photo on the homescreen the icons contacts/messages/ etc get in the way...

I presume its active standby your on about...i just asked a question about getting it turned on in another forum....
Menu>Tools>Settings...
Phone>Standby mode>Active Standby...
"Off"
aye, sounds like its active standby.
Shame it covers the pics.. Id quite like to use it but dont want the text over my 'quality picture' 😉
