N73 Gmail users: Problem remembering log in details since firmware upgrade — Nokia N71, Nokia N73 and Nokia N75

I recently upgraded to the following firmware:

V3.0638.0.0.1
30-10-2006
RM-133
Nokia N73 (01)

Since then I am unable to check the box on the gmail log in to remember my details, and as such have to log in every time.

Now I know that I could use the pop function on the phone and there's also the mobile gmail application, but I just want to know if this is a problem with the current firmware or is there something I'm doing wrong. Cookies are enabled, and I can't think what else it could be.

This was fine with the old firmware, but as soon as I tick the box and move the curser it automatically unchecks itself.

Any ideas?

Just tried this on yahoo mail and it won't let me tick the box either. V annoying... 😡

I had the same prob but noticed that if you keep on quickly trying to tick the box and move the curser out at the same time it will eventually tick the box... Sounds silly I know but it works 😊
