P990 Voice Commands

Try as I might, I cannot get the P990 Voice Commands to work. The reason I want to do this is so that I can use with my Parrot CK2000. I've added voice commands to some of my contacts (eg "voicemail", "home" etc). I press and hold the thumb-wheel, see a box that says "Speak after the tone". I hear the tone and say "home", but all that ever happens is that I get another message "No match found".

I've just loaded R9EA001 firmware (and re-recorded the commands) but I still have the same problem. Am I missing something? Anyone else successfully using Voice Commands?

Thanks

Yes, I use them with my HBH-663. Recording is a bit tricky, but otherwise it works. I guess you have listened the recorded voices so that they are OK? Try also recording with the phone (not with the kit).

Hi
Yes, I listened to the recordings and they sounded OK - perhaps a little low quality but I tried recording / testing from the phone, a Jabra headset and the car-kit, each with no luck.

I hadn't realized that I had to say my magic word (phone) as well as the contact name, even though I have to press a button to take the car-kit off-hook before dialling. I thought the magic word was used to trigger dialling while on-hook?

Anyway, I can now call my voicemail by pressing the off-hook button on the Parrot car-kit, and saying "phone voicemail". It still only works some of the time and it doesn't work with other recordings ("phone home" for example) which were made in the same way.
