My N80 died on me! Well almost...

Yo!😎

I'm new here so apologies if this post is in the wrong area.

My problem is as follows:

I've got a N80 which is roughly 5 months old. It has fallen on the ground on a few occasions and has the scars to prove it. However there has never been a problem with it. 😊

But that changed today. :frown: The phone display started fading in and out and then blurred into many different colours before switching off. It took a long time to get the phone switched back on again but when it did the display was back to normal. This only lasted a short time before it switched off.
I took the battery and the chip out and replaced it but without success. The phone is well charged.
The situation now is this. The phone switches on and the light turns on. I can hear the Nokia logo playing but no image is shown. Then the display is constantly lit but its a blank screen. I can hear phone calls but I can't answer them.

I would appreciate any help. Feel kinda lost and helpless without the phone.

Thanks!!!😊

just sounds like the connection between the phone and screen is loose from your dropping it>?

NSC can probably sort it but donno about cost.
