It�s the windows live messenger you can download from 3 if you have the N73
Not the Chinese version as this won�t connect across the 3 network; works fine on the WLAN
I am looking to use it on the N80. If it works on the N73 then i can see any real reason for it not working correctly on the 80.

I have tried the sms short code but it gives me the obligatory not compatible error 😞
I have the same troubles as you.
I have tried agile messenger and the chinese MSN and both work over wifi, but neither will connect via my N80 on a 3 contract.
I would be very interested in getting a copy of the N73 messenger application.
I tried phoning 3 customer help, and they were the biggest waste of time imaginable.
The funny thing is, the original BETA version of agile for the N80 worked over my contract, but at the time they changed it to a full version it stopped connecting over my contract connection - only working if I used wifi.
Mmm - that would be cool, as I would bet money if you download the soft and put it on a N80 it will work!
I have what you want, infact I have all the X-series software in zip format!
Just unzip to your desktop and install onto your phone!
By the way I use it on a N80 flashed to N80ie without any problems!
