Does anyone have this installed?
This wasn't anywhere on my phone, so I downloaded it from the Nokia website.
When trying to install, I get a message;
Unable to install.
Component is built-in.
But I can't find it anywhere on my phone!
Any ideas?

I was able to installed mine but tried to use it with no result.
Barcode reader will probably be residing in the Download! Folder on the main menu screen.
And it works very well indeed 😊
I have Three's rubbish firmware at the moment, and don't have a Download! folder... :frown: :con?
Maybe is not present on phone network versions. But it is on application folder, ate least, on no network lock version.

i have exactly the same problem:barcode reader isn't on the phone, but can't install it after downloading it from "download!" some help would be great!
i cant install it in my previous firmware... it says it already installed...
but after i update my firmware or should i say change my original n73 to internet edition, i able to install it...
can use it but doesnt seem to work or produce any result...
Yeah, on my o2 original firmware, it wouldn't install, with the error message about being built in.
I upgraded to euro1 generic, and its working fine now, although its not as good as the semacode for s60 2nd ed on my N70, its got better features (like having a macro focus).
If you don't want to get experimental with the firmware, just use the semacode java midlet. It does the same job, which is pretty pointless once you've got over the novelty.
