Okay so long story short. My phone has now been formatted a couple of times and the mmc is empty too. All i have from the mmc is the folders that i just copy pasted (including system and backup) onto my pc.
I was getting the 'app closed ncnlist' error and would not receive any missed call or text alerts. Formatting helped but when i restored the backup, the phone was the same so the problem was in the phone.
Now all i have is the backup.arc file which i have tried to restore by copying it back to its original location but when i use the memory app from extras, it just stops in between and says error occurred operation failed. and then the phone restarts.
All i get back is the acces points and a few other unwanted settings. I want my contacts back. Please help. I have the original folders from my MMC directly cut paste but i even tried another 6600 and the restore option doesnt happen properly. Is there anyway i can extract my contacts?
