tomtom help for N70 pretty please

Hi

I have just installed tomtom on my N70 and have paired my bluetooth GPS reciever.

But I think I need to do something further as when I activate tomtom, I get the set language screen followed by set miles or kilometers then I get a screen saying install from CD Rom or downlaod from tomtom.

If I click the centre navigation button I get a screen saying no maps found, a further click of the central nav button takes me to connect to server followed by the N70 'select access point' screen.

I have no idea which access point I should be selecting but have tried all of them, with the same result each time, that being that I get a screen saying TomTom services Could not connect to servive with an option to continue, which takes me back to the No maps found screen.

What do I need to do to make it work?

[idiot proof language would be good 😊]

Err.... when you say 'installed', what do you mean? It should have come on a DV RS-MMC card and auto-installed itself!

Thats helpful thanks - yes I use the word installed when I install something from a disc and to the best of my knowledge so do most other people.

No, you missed my point. You implied manual installation from media, whereas the official product comes on card and auto-installs. Do you have an official TomTom product? (I get sooooo frustrated at all the people in here installing cracked copies of this.....)

After the card auto-install, it should work perfectly. Try taking the card out and putting it back in.
