I've not that savvy about all of this and I need a lot of help. I have 10-15 3-4 MB video clips that i want to transfer from pc to e62. I've tried a lot of things. Do I use RealPlayer??Help?:frown:
Transfer video from PC to E62
For just the transfer, just use Windows Explorer (connect the phone using the supplied USB cable in USB mass storage mode and copy the files from your PC's drive to the phone).
You can also use an USB memory card reader to copy the files.
And you can use Nokia PC Suite ( http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite ) and its File manager feature (works using the USB cable or Bluetooth or infrared in order of speed).
However, before you try, check that the video files are in a format supported by the phone: http://forum.nokia.com/video
If not, you need to use some video converter like the PC Suite Multimedia Viewer or eRightSoft SUPER ( http://www.erightsoft.com/ ). If the file is not in the correct format, it won't play on the phone.
Have the same problem , used nokia suite to encode movie but e62 does understand the codec used so only get audio, have tried divx and smartmovie but none work.
Finally managed to get video working, forget realplayer as it's real useless, installed smartmovie and converted via a mac using isquint, settings that work are video 320X240,256 kbps, 15 fps, audio 96kbps, 44100hz,stereo.This produces an mp4 that plays ok, tries Super to convert but does not have required setting options.
