Beeping problem with Rock-Your-Mobile CallRecorder Pro

Hello, having installed CallRecorder Pro from Rock-Your-Mobile on my phone, I was horrified to discover that, when installed, the program emits a series of intermittent beeps every 5 seconds or so into any call that you make. As you can imagine, this is very annoying, both for me and the person to whom I am takling, so I have now uninstalled it, despite having forked out good money for it.

Why is this so? There is no mention of this on their website, and there is no mention in the settings of how to get rid of it. Does anyone have an idea of how I can do this? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I'd think the beeps are so you cant secretly record someone... probably some legal bumpf they add in without mentioning it...

tell them you want your cash back!

can anyone suggest a good alternative for this software, one that records automatically for an unlimited amount of time, and save as .wav ?

Hiya All,

I contacted smartphoneware about this issue and this is the responce I got;

Unfortunately, that beep cannot be turned off because it's implemented
by Nokia at hardware level (i.e. it's not our software that makes this
beep but the phone during any recording while a call). It is a kind of
protection from unauthorized call record which is forbidden in some
countries. Unfortunately, our software doesn't have any control over
this phone's attitude which is referenced in your phone's User Manual
under Recording Calls (Call Recording) section.

Regards,

Scott
