importing .CDB files yet again

Hello,
this is my first post, so please be tolerant for me 😊
I have recently purchased a p990. Since I was still owning my old p910 i have sent my entire Contacts to the p990. After that I got rid of the 910.
Now, today I have been a complete idiot - I downloaded the system software for the 990, flashed it.... and ended up with an empty phone :P

I do have a backup file .ecs from my old 910 and after studying the subject I managed to extract the Contacts.CDB file out of it.

This is where my problem begins because there is no way the 990 will accept it and I haven't managed to find any application that will translate it into any common and acceptable form (even so i can put them back in by hand).

I would really appreciate some help with this.
Regards

So, er..... what have you been syncing the devices to on the PC? Outlook?

If you er.... haven't, and you then got rid of your old device AND wiped your new one, then you're up the proverbial creek.....!

In which case you'd have to get another P910 off eBay, load up the backup, sync it to Outlook or similar and then sync that to the P990.
