i've restored my phone from a backup saved on memory card. in doing so i have stupidly lost my notes since the backup was done.
does anyone know if these can be recovered from my phone/memory card?
also does anyone know where notes are stored on my phone?
to clarify i mean:
menu - extras - notes

They were all stored in the file C:\System\Data\Notepad.dat
I don't think it can be recovered, if it has been replaced/overridden/reset and you don't have a backup copy of it.

but he should have the back-up on the computer...
What he had was a memory card backup, but lost notes from the time between he made the backup and had to restore the backup he had.
Those cannot be recovered, if they were never backed up in the first place (on a memory card, a PC, sent to other people, printed or any other way).
