shortcut menu moved from left to top

I think that previously you had an Orange branded phone with the Orange Home Screen app active. If the Orange Home Screen is still there in the new firmware, try to locate how to turn it on. Most people hated it, it seems from discussions here and elsewhere (search & you'll see).

99.9% of the people posting in this forum have loathed the shortcur bar or "Orange Homescreen" ever since it's inception and have gone to great lengths to remove it.

Your only hope will be to go to Tools>Settings>Phone>Active Standby and turn it off. This may or may not put your screen back the way you like it.

Any other posters with your firmware version might be able to tell you if there is a Homescreen On/Off in phone settings.

More likely Orange finally realised how many people had begged them to remove it!

Ha this must be a joke, as previous posters have said everyone hated the Homescreen so they got rid of it now people want it back !!!!!!

If they published a changelog things like this wouldn't happen cos he'd know that if he updates the Homescreen would go

I just really got used to it being there and found it helpful in the end and now I have this big screen to look at with nothing helpful on it - guess I'll get used to it. Really dont like what they have replaced it with so am going without.

Also dont like that I ma unable to stop the function of the joystick when it is pushed one way or the other.

I use it to wake my phone up but now i find it opens the browser of messaging when all i want is the phone to wake up !

Phone does work much better tho 😉
