Advanced Sequence mode

According to the manual, it says that "the number of pictures is restricted by the available memory." I have a 1gb memory card but the advanced sequence only takes 10 pictures and then stops. I was wondering if you could somehow make it keep taking pictures until your memory card is full.

Thanks,
KiN.

No, I don't think so. Advance Sequence Mode is sort of (as far as I can tell) Nokia's version of Sony's 'Best Picture(tm)' feature.

The idea being that when we say 'cheese' we're not always at our best and those subtle movements we make in that split second can make the difference between gorgeous and minging 😉

The sequence gives you ten split seconds to scrub up well, but it's not intended to be used as stop-motion photography.

At 1+MB per photo at 3mp a phone with no, or a small capacity, well-used memory card may not be able to cope with 10 so I'd imagine the wording in the manual is intended to explain why the phone wouldn't take the full ten.

Ah, I see. I was hoping to do some timelapse photography...bummer. :frown:

Thanks for the info Robnash,
KiN.

I've had a play with the phone and find that I'm completely wrong. Looking at the settings it should be perfectly possible to do time-lapse photography, not sure why it stops after 10 photos.

I'll give it a go when I've got a moment and see if mine does the same.

yeah, it must be changeable as Ive just tried mine in whatever mode it was set in and it only took 6 photos on 1fps... (and calling it 1 fps is a complete joke.. .more like 1 frame over 6 seconds.

Thanks for the link elaverick, that's exactly what I'm looking for! Now I need to figure out how to use this Python thing...
